The "KURAMOTO-NO-SHIZUKU" brand was born out of customer demand. Customers expressed a desire for skincare products that could soften and smooth their complexion. In response, we embarked on a search for the right ingredients to achieve these goals.

Why did we choose Sake from the "Miyakotsuru" brewery? The answer lies in the story of the brewer himself. After noticing his hands becoming remarkably soft during the sake-making process, he was inspired to develop a line of cosmetics. The 180-year-old Kyoto-based brewery utilizes rare and delicate "Iwaimai" rice, "Kyonohana" Kyoto yeast, and the soft "Fushimi" groundwater to create this exceptionally precious sake lees extract.

So, what's the difference between sake lees extract and rice fermented filtrate? Sake lees are the white rice remnants left over after the sake-making process, which are alcohol-free. Rice fermented extract, on the other hand, is made directly from white rice, and does contain alcohol.

For sensitive skin types, we suggest performing a patch test before full application. The longevity of the products depends on the area and frequency of use, with 5g lasting a few days, 20g lasting around a month, and 50g lasting approximately 2.5 months.
